Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities have the same range of feelings and potential for psychological distress as do others in our society and they are entitled to a similar complement of mental health services.
Persons with developmental disabilities can understand and communicate their feelings more directly. They can experience a greater degree of freedom to live their lives. They can benefit from psychological treatment, which promotes their emotional well-being and maximizes their mental health.
At Community Pathways Unlimited, Inc., both individual and group psychotherapeutic treatments are available for persons with developmental disabilities.
